Just like the jacket of the same name, Poseidon 3 GTX pants protect you
from the elements. Constructed from two- and three-layer Gore-Tex that’s
laminated to the outer shell, wind, rain and surface-spray have met
their match. This membrane has near-magical properties – it’s
lightweight and resistant to cuts and tears. Plus, it’s breathable yet
windproof and 100% waterproof. Meaning you stay warm, dry and protected
on any adventure, whatever the season.

A detachable, packable thermal liner adds to the all-season credentials
without adding bulk or too much extra weight. And on-demand ventilation
is easily adjustable with VCS|Aquadefence – just open for airflow and
snap shut if the weather turns nasty. FidLock magnetic fasteners combine
locking strength with easy, one-handed operation.

These pants not only perform against the elements but defend you from
the road, too, with SeeFlex CE-Level 2 armour at the knees, and
breathable, flexible SeeSmart CE-Level 1 hip protectors. A Sure Grip
textured panel in the seat means you won’t slide around at this vital
contact point, even in extreme weather. Plus, double zippers keep your
pants and thermal liner attached to your jacket for secure, all-season
comfort and wraparound protection.

Waterproofing

• 2L Gore-Tex Fabric – By laminating the Gore-Tex membrane to the
  fabric, a 100% waterproof, windproof and highly breathable outer shell
  is created, offering unsurpassed durable wearer comfort.
• 3L Gore-Tex Fabric
• 3L Gore-Tex Pro – The 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro design utilizes a
  revolutionary membrane that is specially processed and provides high
  strength. The membrane is durably bonded to both the rugged outer
  material and a specially developed robust inner lining. Gore-Tex Pro
  garments are highly abrasion- and snag-resistant. The 3-layer Gore-Tex
  Pro laminates also benefit from our Tricot Backer technology. The
  specially woven lining protects the membrane also from abrasion on the
  inside and adds to the extreme robustness of the 3-layer laminate
  system.

• Aquadefence Panels on Upper Legs – When opened the Aquadefence
  system allows direct ventilation to the body. When the zipper or panel
  is closed, it presses onto the incorporated rain gutter, the jacket is
  then 100% wind- and waterproof. When the panel or zipper is closed the
  rain gutter will stop the water from entering via the ventilation
  holes, thereby keeping you dry and comfortable. (EU patent EP 2574249,

• VCS|Panel with FidLock Magnetic Fastener on Upper Legs –
  Removable panels for optimum ventilation. Ventilation is nice on
  warmer days, but not as desirable in cold weather. The panels can be
  kept open due to the FidLock magnetic Fastener. The Fidlock magnetic
  fastener not only uses the attraction but also the repulsion of
  magnets. This leads to a robust closure with high locking strength
  that can still be easily opened with one hand while riding.

  that offers excellent wearer comfort.
• 3L Gore-Tex Pro Armacor Fabric – The 3L Gore-Tex Pro Armacor
  fabric technology utilizes a blend of high-tech fibers that offer
  excellent tear and abrasion resistance, while still being light in
  weight and allowing mobility and flexibility.
• 3L Gore-Tex Nylon 400D Fabric – Gore-Tex shells are made for
  riding in extreme conditions. The fabric is made of rugged 400 denier
  high-tenacity nylon that delivers superior abrasion and tear
  resistance. A high-performance Gore-Tex membrane is bonded to a tough
  outer material and inner lining. The benefits of a 3-layer are less
  water pick up of the outer layer which results in breathable comfort
  for all weather conditions.

Visibility

• Laminated Reflection at Calves – Reflection panels ensure
  excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen
  from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the
  reflection panels are welded to the fabric. This welding process also
  eliminates stitching seams, making the garments safer.
